Ultrasonic cleaning is a technology that uses high frequency sound waves (ultrasonic: above the range of human hearing) to agitate an aqueous or organic medium (cleaning chemistry) that in turn acts on contaminations adhering to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber and ceramics.
