How Does It Work?
Ultrasonic cleaning uses high frequency sound waves to generate cavitation in the liquid. The resulting energetic bubble action penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses to thoroughly remove all traces of contamination adhering or embedded on the solid surface. Contaminants can include dust, dirt, oil, pigments, grease, polishing compounds, flux agents, soot, and more.
Advantages of Ultrasonic Cleaning
Removes all forms of hydrocarbon contamination and refinery grade by-products.
Cleans process-critical components and equipment once deemed not cleanable.
Performs services in a fraction of the time required by conventional methods.
Uses less water and produces less waste water than high pressure cleaning.
Does not create metal degradation.
Minimizes safety concerns inherent with high pressure cleaning methods.
AG Sonic Clean makes all of these Ultrasonic Cleaning advantages a reality for our clients in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
